A long overdue locksmithing update...

It has come to my attention that this field requires more and more research than anything else I have ever tried to learn. More and more trial and error since there is no one out there that truly wants you to succeed. The forums are filled with professionals who refuse to help and sometimes they shouldn't sure... many people ask questions without first bothering to search. Information is horded unless you want to play 150+ a month to alteracademy.co.uk. If you are serious about this field than you SHOULD take advantage of that service. They even have live support for questions and assistance which is a great help even if they are based out of the UK.
I have recently purchased the godiag books and I am part way through reading. It is a lot of basic information in the beginning but I will post the full review later. There is another set of books that I will be adding to my library in the coming month as soon as my new key machine is ordered (big expense). They are the 2021 AutoSmart 3 book set and I will review them as soon as I get through them.
My current locksmith adapter list:
Toyota/Lexus Smart Box
Nissan/Mitsubishi Adapter
Ford Active Alarm Adapter
Xtool 12+8 star link/bypass adapter w/ 2 pins (it has what all other adapters have plus more... I will do a detailed post on this later)

Things I am looking forward to purchasing:
Key Tool Plus 2 (rumored that Xhorse is in development for FBS4 keys... game changer. I have wanted one of these tools but financially it's smart to wait for the new one)
VVDI3 (since I have not had the chance to purchase previous versions I will wait for these)
Key Tool Plus Solder-free adapters (all of them - they are great)
More coming soon!
